The Pinoy Erasmus Mundus website. Check it out!
I am a member of a (the?) Filipino Erasmus Mundus student and alumni group, one of the latest projects of which has been the creation of a website where we could share past and present experiences as students in Europe. There are few entries in the blog just yet, but I think that it's promising so far. With time and more members contributing, perhaps it could grow into a resource page / forum where prospective students can get answers to frequently asked questions and somewhat lessen any existing apprehensions about "life abroad". At any case, I think it succeeds in putting faces and personalities to "scholars". If you've also had some experiences of studying abroad, you'll find that this blog is a refreshing reminder you that you can look back at those awkward firsts and laugh at yourself (I frequently do this, anyway!).
I considered several ideas before I put in my first contribution to the blog. The article shouldn't be a mere rehash of anything I've written here; it also shouldn't be something in my own backblog. So I thought of writing a series of miscellaneous recollections from the Erasmus Mundus year that I wished I could have written about before I started this blog. My first contribution is of course, on food. In a fit of inspiration, I made illustrations for it too :-) Ladies and gents, I give you:

Visit the Pinoy Erasmus Mundus blog at http://pinoyerasmusmundus.wordpress.com. The Erasmus Mundus programme is a co-operation and mobility programme in the field of higher education. It aims to enhance quality in European higher education and to promote intercultural understanding through co-operation with third countries.
