First grill plate of the season

Last week's grill lunch, the first of the season: Pork , onions and tomatoes grilled in foil and grilled skewered zucchinis, served with fries and Béarnaise sauce. A gazillion calories. Yum!

I hope the sun shines down on us tomorrow when we host a grill party here for some friends and acquaintances (and some people whom I haven't met who are friends of Jeline's from her MA program). It will be exciting to see how 10+ people cook their lunch on a tiny 30-centimeter grill!

Hej Leplume och Lara: It's an easy marinade with Caj-P brand marinade and some crushed garlic. The veggie pack just has lemon-flavored oil and salt in it.

Lara: I checked SJ's site for the possibility of taking the train up there instead. I suppose there's only one place called Ljusdal, right?

yup, i think there's only one ljusdal. gävleborg. about 60 km west to the coastal city of hudiksvall. we will be off to finland on july 4, back on the 13th, and jaakko's brother will leave us on the 16th, so you can come anytime after that. oh, otherwise, you can come before we leave for finland, cause im already free from work next week. :-D

I think I'll answer for Lara.

Yes, there is only one SJ stop called Ljusdal :-). Also regional X-tåget comes up to here from Gävle. And of bus connections Härjedalingen or Y-buss from Stockholm should those be of interest.

Good looking pork steaks, by the way!
