Frost, but no snow

It's past the middle of December and there's still no snow (with the exception of the north of Sweden, where it has started snowing since early October). In fact, after that freak snowstorm down here in October (which lasted a day, but left the streets snowy for about a week and stranded trains in Stockholm for days), the snow just melted away and it even became gradually warmer. Two nights ago, it was even record warm for that day of the year since 250 years back (13 degrees C), and we are now expecting a short period of coldness before another warm period.

I don't know what the explanation for this unusual weather is. In the Philippines too, we've been having freak super-storms in what is supposed to be the "cool, dry season". In the west coast of Sweden, there have been huge floods deep enough to go jetskiing in. Some of the pedestrian underpasses there have also filled with water. In the meantime, for most of the country anyway, winter sports and snow fun are hanging in the air.

Three songs we should be listening to:
1) Let it Snow, let it snow, let it snow
2) Winter wonderland
2) I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas
